Creative Direction. Branding. Design. Visual Language. Team Management. Marketing. Digital. Print.

I'm a human-focused creative director with a passion for branding, visual language, and design based in San Francisco. I help my clients thrive by creating brand experiences that matter and that people love.
Over the past 20 years, I've helped businesses launch, improve, and expand their products and services. I’ve worked with small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. During my 12-year full-time in-house engagement with Oracle, I've led the strategic development of visual language for Oracle's Tier 1 solutions, products, and events as part of the Oracle Brand Creative leadership team.
As an experienced team leader, manager, and certified coach, I nurture and empower the people I work with so they can tap into higher levels of creativity. I thrive working with people from different backgrounds to come up with well-rounded results. My core skills are deep listening, creative problem solving, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and global audiences.
No matter how large or small a project, I enjoy creating meaningful design experiences that are impactful, clean, and simple.

A handful of companies I've worked for include Target, VMware, Wells Fargo, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, Rollerblade, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and yes, Oracle.

All creativity is grounded in strategy, meaning and purpose. I leverage a branding process that works as a road map to help stay focused on the project goal. In a nutshell:
01 Discovery Phase
I learn all about your business and project. This is where deep listening skills come in.
02 Strategy Phase
Together we identify your core values, objectives, brand's personality, and target audience to set the foundation.
03 Design Phase
I put all my creative energy into researching the competition, inspirational material, brainstorming, and designing ideas. This is the imagine and think big phase.
04 Implementation Phase
Once you choose a design direction, all necessary elements will be created to bring the design to life in the physical or digital world. Think business cards, brochures, websites, just to name a few examples.
